Kady Fleckenstein joined the Santa Maria Valley Wine Country as Executive Director in March of 2008. Originally from Arlington, VA, Kady grew up in theatre; acting, singing, and dancing whenever possible. She enjoyed many performances but perhaps her favorite was her role in Songs From Bedlam, an original play produced by Barksdale Theatre in Richmond, VA. Her most amusing acting job included a national anti-smoking commercial with a humorous spin.

Currently, Kady has started acting and singing again and enjoyed playing the lead role of Louisa in a local production of The Fantasticks. She is currently preparing for an intimate concert at the C Gallery in Los Alamos on Saturday, April 24th, 2010 titled "When I Fall in Love" in which she will explore the path of a relationship through song. She hopes to soon be spending more of her free time singing in local wine bars, events and plays.
